Welcome to the last month of summer! It’s time to put away those bathing suits and bring out the fall fashion! While swimwear may be fun, there’s nothing quite like getting a brand new wardrobe—especially if it’s based on the hottest fashion trends of the season. Today we’re going to discuss some of the hottest trends in fashion right now. We’ll start with our favorite top models and their outfits, then move on to how you can get the same looks at an affordable price.

The top 10 models
Gigi Hadid is another addition to our list of top models this year. She’s been modeling since she was 13 years old, walking in shows like Victoria Secret. She has worked with major brands such as GAP, Maybelline, Nine West and made her way into our television screens on shows like Lip Sync Battle, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and even into movies such as Zoolander 2 with Miley Cyrus. One thing that stands out about Gigi is that she does not conform to one size or shape for modeling purposes. Other supermodels include Bella Hadid (Gigi’s sister), Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima and Ashley Graham who are all notable names in the industry. What these women have in common is that they can work well at different body types and shapes. They don’t just want to be one type of model but rather able to do it all! Fashion isn’t always just what you wear but how you present yourself as well. These women give us a new outlook on beauty through their versatility and representation within the industry.

The most innovative fashion trends
With a complete lack of artistic creative vision, I will be telling you about the two most innovative apparel items that are both being touted as game changers. One is a shapewear brand focused on curves called Silky (link to website), and the other is Tommy Hilfiger’s new athleisure line TOMMYXZIGGY (link to website). The latter était deemed a failed experiment by Topshop’s creative director, but they’re now trying it again. Either way, these are unique brands doing innovative things in what has become an over saturated field of knock-offs. From #MeToo to Nike’s Colin Kaepernick ad campaign, many people are looking for clothing lines that stand for something more than just trends. As usual though, there will always be those who feel we should ignore social issues and focus solely on beauty and fitness – which we’ve seen with the development of contouring cosmetics. There is a constant need for balance between style, trendiness, creativity and feeling good while wearing clothes. And while I don’t want to give any specific advice because people need different styles at different times in their lives, I think it’s important to stay true to your own voice when shopping so you can walk away feeling confident instead of like everyone else – or worse yet – regretful because you bought something without really considering how it makes you feel.

The most popular events happening at Fashion Week
Many style enthusiasts can hardly wait for Fashion Week. This global event provides plenty of opportunities to look at what’s popular in the modeling world as well as pick up some great new fashion tips. In this post, I’m going to cover all you need to know about both New York and London Fashion Week, which will hopefully help with your preparations for these two events.

When is New York Fashion Week?

New York Fashion Weekend kicks off on September 6th, with a number of shows happening before then. The last day is Sunday September 15th.

When is London Fashion Week?

London will host a number of significant shows from Friday July 9th until Thursday 16th July 2017.

The best ways to get involved with your favorite designers
Getting involved with your favorite designers is one way to get to know them better, get exclusive content, and feel like you’re part of their team. It also benefits the designer by giving them an avenue for reaching out to potential customers who would have never known about them otherwise.
Here are some ideas for getting involved:

• Join their mailing list or waitlist for announcements about new products or pre-orders that can be purchased ahead of time – Send a tweet or write a post on your blog – Post on Instagram – Respond to posts on their Facebook page – Comment on a post on their Tumblr blog – Share social media posts on Pinterest or Snapchat – Find out when they’ll be at a local event near you (and go!) – Keep up with them on YouTube or subscribe to their podcast
  Ultimately, the best way to become involved in any company’s community is by engaging authentically and showing interest in what they do.

How to dress like a model if you are not one

1. Get your hair styled at a salon. Gently curl or flat iron your hair to give it that polished look.
2. Dress up in tight clothes like jeggings, slim pants, pencil skirts or a form-fitting sheath dress. Flaunt your assets by pairing them with low heels and an off-the-shoulder blouse or halter top that shows off your neckline. You can also wear shorts with a flowy shirt if you’re daring enough!
3. Put on some makeup for instant beauty! Simply apply foundation, concealer and powder to balance out your skin tone before applying lipstick to highlight those sexy lips that always catch their attention! Don’t forget mascara to add length and volume to your lashes as well as liner to define your eyes. Curl or straighten eyelashes so they are long, full and fluttery. To complete the perfect model makeover use blush on the apples of your cheeks, highlighter on cheekbones, eye shadow with bronzer across forehead and jaw line, lip gloss with shimmer all over lids. Go back through again after adding a few finishing touches such as curling hair for loose waves, put earrings in both ears so they sparkle just like these beauties do!
